I couldn't go without saying that I love the peace I feel when I go to the temple. What a privilege to live at a time when we can worship God "according to the dictates of our own conscience." With the recent events pertaining to temple worship, here is a YouTube the church has released to help clear confusion about what temples mean to us. The sacred nature of temple worship would not ever allow us to publish it in any way for every eye to observe. Here's the video:
I think it's really sad that there is so much confusion about what Latter-Day Saints believe, because we are so willing to share and tell. I truly hope that when people have questions about a religion, they seek out answers from people who hold strong to the faith of that religion, instead of seeking answers from someone who has left it, and/or has bitter feelings for it. This is the weirdest thing for me to post this, but I feel sad that anyone who knew me well enough to read my blog would have unanswered questions about something I hold so dear to my heart.
