I wanna Run, Run, Run, Run, Run. Be a champion...

{For 18 months – Jan ’17 to Jul ’18 – I'm posting our letter to Miranda while she's on her mission to Cochabamba, Bolivia.  Our letter titles are taken from a list of family sayings & catchphrases we recorded onto a pillowcase she has with her.  You can read her adventures on her mission blog: www.hermanamadsen.blogspot.com!}

We are the worst.  We didn't take even one picture of our family this week.  All I have are cool saved memes on my phone.  Priorities.  =)

On Monday, I visit taught a new lady in the ward, who needs friends.  So excited to be her VT.  Derek got shots for 7th grade this fall!

Tuesday, Carlie auditioned for music theater next year... it was a marathon, poke-her-eye-out experience.  =)  You'll have to ask her.  =)

Wednesday, the Teachers had a Speed-friending activity for Mutual.  Ended up pretty funny.

Thursday, Morgan had Choir Festival during school down in Orem.  He got to leave school campus & eat at Taco Bell.  Huge success, no matter how the singing turned out.

Friday, Tommy came to stay with us with Emily and her sister Katie.  Very fun to have them for Conference, and then we PACKED.  We are leaving Sunday night at 10pm and Dad's going to drive all night.  When we get off the boat on Friday, we're going to Grandma Levie's to spend the night with EVERY SINGLE COUSIN you have on my side.  THIRTY FIVE grandchildren/ 19 adults.  Great Grandpa Levie's 90th bday party is Saturday morning, and then Dad will probably drive home with the kids and I'll stay to talk to my sibs & cousins & maybe ride home with someone later.

Weird to not punctuate this with pics of the fam.  Sorry!

LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

I'll attach the memes, because otherwise this email will be too boring!

=)

Right?  Love, Mom

Miranda, I broke down during conference because of how good you are. The talk on leading our children to Christ and raising a sin-resistant family: I thanked Him that you were first; that you let us slide by in parenting and still turned out to be a rockstar. You are amazing. Your example of gospel living and integrity has pushed Dad & I to be better parents. We have become different people because of your strength and steadfastness. You're a rock. And a bright star.  Thank you so much.

And we took one picture now: Conference. :)

 Love, Mom
