OK! This was that week after you have influenza for a week, where you think any day you're going to get up and be FINE, and you're just too weak and ravaged to do anything... But somehow all this stuff still happened!
Monday, the kids had no school, and the twins went to their friend Ivy's birthday party at Classic Fun in Orem. They brought their own roller blades, and then used scooters while they were there, too. =)
When Carlie picked them up, she got this cute picture of Big Sister with Little Sisters, in Rocky. Her car is unfixable, so she's just going to drive it til it dies... we'll pick it up this week.
Tuesday, Dad got this skiing. Just had to remind you what real winter looks like:
And COMPLETE SUCCESS. Here's Sterling licking Xena's face & head. I was also checking the security cameras and saw something darling. Xena got outside, and made her way to the front porch, but just waited there. After a while, Sterling came and tried to demonstrate how to get to the back yard. She waited for a while longer, then followed him and we found her outside the back door, not knowing how to use the cat door to come inside yet. Sterling is being SUCH a good big brother. We know he doesn't like her claws, but he's doing everything to show her the ropes and love her.
Wednesday, James came to stay with us again because his parents went out of town. He just fits right in like a brother; it's so easy to have him here.

And lastly, people are getting so irate, and finally making real movement toward arming teachers in the classrooms because there have been a few more school shootings. Take a look at these - Hahaha!

Connor had his first tennis lesson. =) He was last on his relay team to run the tennis balls to the right rackets, and his team won!!!
That night, Scott hosted a birthday party at his work, Sales Rabbit at Thx Pt, for Paul. The boys ran over and played some stuff, had a smorgasbord of treats, pizza, and unending soda:
In the middle of the party, I took Morgan to his Choir Grand Concert. It was the best of the band, orchestra and choir... this group, all of them, did NOT sound like a Jr. High performance group. It was so amazing, that many times during it, Carlie & I turned to each other shaking our heads.
Then Carlie drove Morgan back and they finished off the party, playing video games, etc. Scott is the nicest for doing this with the cousins every once in a while.
