My heart is sad. We're going on vacation for a few days to Disneyland & SeaWorld. I KNOW Halle & Kierste would NOT enjoy themselves in the CAR for 24 total hours, strolling around D & S, etc. So they are not coming.
My heart aches for them, and they've been at Grandma's house for an hour (gonna sleep there, since we're leaving in the morning). It was different when we were driving with them for 10 hours to my mom's house, then leaving them and jetting over to the Parks for only 3 days. But my mom flew out to stay with Jana and her new granddaughter Mary. I am super happy for you, Jana, that you get Mom all to yourself, catching up, doing nails & eating bon-bons... I expect you'll make it to the spa together. jk - I can "hear" the whine in my posting voice, so I'll end soon.
I know they are going to do great at Carol's house. She loves them so much, and takes such good care of them. And the puppy Chloe is going to have the time of her life with her mama Lucy at their house, too. I'm still sad, feeling guilty, and aching for my almost 2 year old girls.
Done with the whine & cheese, on to the vacay.
