Nighty NIGHTY Bibble Poo!!

{For 18 months – Jan ’17 to Jul ’18 – I’m posting our letter to Miranda while she's on her mission to Cochabamba, Bolivia.  Our letter titles are taken from a list of family sayings & catchphrases we recorded onto a pillowcase she has with her.  You can read her adventures on her mission blog: www.hermanamadsen.blogspot.com!}

This has been a very hazy week for me.  Remember that I had the flu?  It LASTED ALL WEEK.  I still had a fever on FRIDAY.  Ugh.  So the week kind of flew by without me, but I knew enough to cancel all the stuff I was supposed to be at, and to ask Dad to buy treats for things we were supposed to make them for... It was the worst.

So.  Here's when I was sitting at the computer on Monday getting stuff for you, or something... I can't remember very well, but I couldn't believe this little thing:

She's just so funny.

This came along:

Tuesday Morgan's team ALMOST WON their 3rd tournament game. They went into overtime, and just BARELY missed the last points at the last second.  What a great season.  I'm so glad they did this.

This popped up on my memories.  Hahaha!!!

Wednesday, Carlie's Jeep got towed to get fixed... yay!!!  "Goodbye, Snowflake..."

That night, Morgan went bowling for mutual:

And this view, and the extent of my travels for the entire week.  Xena kept shredding the rolls of tp I brought to mop up my face:

And Daddy & Kristen Edwards' flowers:

Friday, the kids started working on their YouTube channel.  You heard me right.  They are the Woodchips.  We're making a collection of videos - they use the pink iPad - before we start posting them.  So far we have some kind of eating contest involving chips that went flying.  =)

Connor broke out on his own, and he made 11 videos so far, for his own LEGOman channel.  He makes Lego sets; sometimes 45 seconds, sometimes 7.5 min, and then you hear him saying, "Ok, that's it.  Subscribe to get all my videos and give me a thumbs up," and signing off.  Oh, and sometimes you hear me coughing, or asking the kids if they did their jobs.  It's epic.

Saturday, Connor went to James' baptism.  =)

And that night, everyone was playing with friends, except D & Con, who were here with me, watching a NEW SEASON of Voltron.  I think they almost died when they realized.  Of course, that's where Carlie was with her more grown-up friends, watching the same thing!!!

That night, we had a massive snow storm, and I'm so proud of Carlie & Morgan for getting up and getting ready to go to the Developmental Center by 7:30 on their own.  But they couldn't make it out of the neighborhood, even in Rocky.  Derek stayed home with me, but everyone else went to A&M's baby blessing for little Elizabeth Grace.  Here's a few cross-sections:

And then they went straight to Grandma Madsen's because today was her birthday.  =)  Katie's family came, and the Gees were there, too.  Look how many people are comfortably hanging out!!

Carlie came home and whipped up this little beauty.  What a doll she is:

And lastly, this crazy phenomenon happened.  I've never seen a pet WATCH tv before.  Derek & I had some Planet Earth II on (it's epic), and she was just watching the animals; sometimes, moving to pounce with them.  It was kind of amazing how long she watched it with us, went off to play, and came back to her same spot, right under the TV.  Wow.

Ok the memes, little girl:

LOVE YOU!!!  I'll be so much better soon!  It can only go up from this last week!!!

Love, Mom
