{For 18 months I'm posting
our letter to Miranda while she's on her mission to Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Our letter titles are taken from a list of family sayings &
catchphrases we recorded onto a pillowcase she has with her. You can read
her adventures on her mission blog: www.hermanamadsen.blogspot.com!}

So this was a week! So Tuesday, Halle & Kierste had a random soccer game, and Halle scored! We were so proud of her, and Kierste played fierce, too! Here's both your sisters in the same shot:
Wednesday, we put up Halloween decorations. We'll take a picture when we're actually done putting it up. It's all just "out" right now... you know how it is. =)
HAHAHA! Your Adam got voted Homecoming Prince (Jr. Year Hoco King) WITHOUT his knowledge! He wasn't planning on going, and now had to find a date. =) Jana escorted him on the field, and he found a date for the dance. Hahahaha! #popularwithoutconsent =)
Thursday, Dad & I went to the new Hale Center Theater in Sandy to see "Forever Plaid." That is when we realized from our program that Chloe is actually famous. All the years that she has dressed up as Toto for Halloween? She actually plays it in off-Broadway productions all the time. The makeup artists are geniuses who work with her missing eye... you can hardly tell!
Friday night, I dropped Morgan, Derek, Halle & Kierste off at the Riverwoods movie theater to watch
and
while I took Connor up the canyon to Easton's birthday party. We picked up the kids right when the second movie ended, and stopped in to see Grandpa & Grandma Levie at their new rental house. It was too dark to take pics, but here's a shot of what the house looks like. We're so excited to have them live closer and get to know all of you better. =)
Saturday was crazy. Carlie had her day date for Homecoming:
Halle & Kierste were very sad to miss their soccer game, but we had to go up to Easton's baptism. I tried to take a pic, but no one wanted to, and it wasn't my gig, so I relinquished. Still should have gotten some candids while we ate together. Sorry! We ran back for Derek's tennis lesson & Connor's simultaneous soccer game; he was a champ. That little kid is such a fast runner.
Then we all ran straight to Morgan's game, where he scored... he's such a strong player. All the boys are finally his size on his team now, since it's the 14-18 age range, so it's fun to watch so many powerful players at once. It looked like a dangerous, fast game:
The Fall Colors are exploding this year. They're almost over, but we can't stop taking pics of the mountains. Here's one of them:

Ok, now after the soccer games, we ran back home and got Carlie out the door for Homecoming with Ian.
She looked so gorgeous, and said she had the funnest dance date so far.
These are not memes, but before I realized this letter would be so Carlie heavy =) I screenshot what she's been up to so you could see pics she's been posting of herself. Here they are:
And this isn't technically a meme, but I wanted you to see it. Funnies page in the New Era:
And my favorite meme of the week:
I've been listening to Conference this week, and it's AMAZING. I'm excited to find my personal life mission from Heavenly Father; to study, proclaim, and live the Family Proclamation; to take the sacrament with more understanding and meaning, like when I put the emblems in my mouth, I'm becoming more like Him; to remember that I can make it, even though I don't feel good enough most of the time; to ask Heavenly Father to show me what I should do better (that's the thing I'm most afraid of).
Thank you for your tireless example to our family of Christ-centered living. I love you so much! Love, Mom
