Bridge, Forest, Grandma’s House!

{For 18 months – Jan ’17 to Jul ’18 – I'm posting our letter to Miranda while she's on her mission to Cochabamba, Bolivia.  Our letter titles are taken from a list of family sayings & catchphrases we recorded onto a pillowcase she has with her.  You can read her adventures on her mission blog: www.hermanamadsen.blogspot.com!}

Derek started drum lessons this week.  =)  He got a drum set a little while back, but the only picture of it shows that I still haven't cleared your stuff out of your room.  It's pushed back to the back of the room, but I haven't sorted or cleared... and people have slept in there, drum set and all.  Maybe by the time David comes next week (!!!) I'll have it done... but with Pinewood Derby in 3 days, etc, I don't know!!

Then we had an egg hunt at Grandma's for the first time ever because Keri & Alex are here with Lilly.  Jack & Kate made it complete.

That afternoon/evening, Carlie had Morp.  She went with her friend Noah:

Oh, forgot to say, it was Noah's idea to go as Finn and Rey.  =)  Oh my gosh.

After church today, the kids opened their mission calls.  =)  Carlie is going to Anchorage, Alaska:

Morgan is going to Lyon, France:

They're super excited to leave.  =)

Last picture I took this week:

Julianna. Morgan keeps deciding to sell her, then feels guilty and keeps her. This is as far as he got, taking pictures to post her on KSL... then he took her back to his room and changed his mind. :) sweet boy.

At church, Carly was so excited to hear if you got a new companion. When we showed her pics, and she told us you got Sister Beltran, a super awesome sister from Colombia.  Can't wait to hear more about her!!!

We love you so much, Miranda.  I hope your Easter was amazing.  The spirit was SO STRONG at church today, and I was overwhelmed again at how powerful the Atonement is in our lives, and the awesomeness of the Resurrection.
