The Twins Month

Morgan happily played basketball some more

And had a team party when the season was over

Relaxing babies

Carlie went to Clear Creek with her class for an overnight school day!  Haha - we had the egg salad sandwich debacle... never make yourself a scrumptious ESS and put it in a bag in the back of a bus for a 2 hour bus ride.  Phew, we bought her a school lunch when we got there.

I went with her as a chaperone, as well as my friend Amy VanWoerkom, who served her mission in Fresno, Lao speaking, with my cousin Jeremy Goodsell.

So for Mutual, the girls tried on their mom's prom dresses... I am SO SAD I don't still have mine. She would have loved it.  But here's a substitute from someone else's mom.  =)

March 2012 was the month that my twinnies grew up... well, okay.  They turned 5.  We gave them their breakfast in bed

They had their little party with their adorable friends & sweet cousins

Making a wish

They opened their family presents, one from every member of the family, so hey, lots of cha-ching

And sent them off to preschool.  Now, if you know me, you know that I don't really believe in preschool for my darlings.  They have their whole lives to leave me & sit in school.  No need to hasten the day.  By the time they're 4, my beautifuls are calling to me across the house, asking how to spell things.  They're curious about how words fit together.

Not these two.  I would sit with them, showing them letters & words... H & K, being the first.  They loved H & K.  But then no other letter ever mattered again.  I tried all through the Fall.  I kept preschool thoughts at bay in January & February.  And then BAM.  I dropped them off at this adorable & affordable home preschool, and a light went on.  They came home so amazed that letters & numbers existed.  Voila.  They thrived.  The end.
